Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Financial Analyst to contribute to the advancement of Bonneville’s analytics and business intelligence capabilities. We are looking for a collaborative, skilled researcher and data storyteller who can build the capabilities and lead this key area of growth for the company.

Note: Work configurations are subject to change based on business needs and at company discretion.

This position is designated as a remote role. Employee may work from home but will be required to work from a state where Bonneville is an established business.
What You Will Do:

Primary job duties will include, but are not limited to:

Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial modeling. Prepare and present accurate financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior management
Budgeting and Forecasting: Support annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting activities. Collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and provide ongoing support for budget management
Strategic Planning Support: Assist in the development and execution of strategic plans, providing financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and operational efficiency
Performance Monitoring: Monitor key financial metrics and business performance indicators. Identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable strategies to enhance financial performance
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various departments, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and HR, to gather relevant data, understand business needs, and provide financial guidance
Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support investment decisions, new business initiatives, and other strategic projects
Ad-hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested by senior management
Administer: Manage and administer financial planning tools and databases

 

Skills and Experience We Are Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analysis, Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Finance/Accounting or other quantitative degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of related experience using data to help drive business decisions
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated strong analytical skills with ability to analyze multiple data sets and understand interrelationships
Strong knowledge of research principles and practices with demonstrated capabilities in both qualitative and quantitative research
Strong proficiency with analytics tools – ideally Adaptive Planning, DOMO, Excel, SQL, Tableau, or other data tools
Demonstrated excellent leadership, facilitation, project management and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable to change
Proven ability to handle stress, multi-task and meet multiple deadlines
Physical Demands

Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to operate computer keys and general office equipment. Ability to work on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
Compensation

 $100k – $160k. Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to evaluation of the geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with market data.
