Responsibilities:

Specific Duties and Responsibilities Direction & Technical Direction Direct and/or technically direct live and pre-recorded productions, both in-studio and on location. Lead supporting production crews during breaking news and severe weather coverage. Ensure a consistent on-air presentation with minimal errors; facilitate ongoing evaluation and clear communication with News and Production staff. Demonstrate proficient operation and knowledge of Ross Overdrive, and all supporting equipment, including VIZ-RT, Cambotics, ENPS, digital servers, and Mac/PC systems. Operate seamlessly across multiple control rooms without a decline in performance, maintaining effective communication within the TMP team. Operate studio equipment proficiently, including studio microphones/IFBs, cameras, teleprompter, and lighting systems. Communicate effectively with newsroom personnel regarding daily production needs and adapt to changing circumstances. Perform production duties including back-timing, talent cueing, and live-shot coordination. Collaborate with News and Creative teams on all studio pre-production and post-production needs. Understand and implement backup systems and workflows when primary systems are unavailable. Assist with digital and streaming media needs as assigned. Master Control Operations Manage all Master Control functions, including media management, automation playout, and quality control. Demonstrate proficient knowledge and operation of Master Control equipment and systems, including routers, automation, channel branding systems, auto-sat, Crispin Loading Dock, digital servers, satellite downlinks, programming and spot ingest, FTP downloads, closed captioning, EAS tests, Amber Alerts, and transmitter/tower light requirements. Ensure consistent and accurate on-air operations with a strong focus on quality-control standards including monitoring live streams. Adhere to all FCC procedures and requirements. Manage News Live Shot and TVU setup, as well as severe weather alerts and breaking news coverage. Submit maintenance requests or communicate equipment issues to Engineering as needed. Assist with production schedules, reports, and special projects as assigned. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all work areas and assist in keeping equipment in proper working condition.Requirements:
Entry-level applicants with some experience or education in video or audio production are welcomed. Applicants must be willing to reside within 30 minutes of the station.Contact:
