We are looking for a part-time highly confident, energetic, and dynamic candidate to join 93.7 The Ticket FM as Producer. Your role will be integral to enhancing the quality of our program and continued growth. The Ticket is an all sports talk, local and independent radio station.
Radio Producer intern – KNTK 93.7 The Ticket is looking for a part-time highly confident, energetic, and dynamic candidate to join 93.7 The Ticket FM as Producer. Your role will be integral to enhancing the quality of our program and continued growth. Located in downtown Lincoln, we offer an exciting sports oriented environment where interns can learn about advertising, marketing, broadcasting and journalism along with being an on-air talent.
Hours vary – we are open 7 days a week 6am to 12 M-F and 7am to 10 pm Sat/Sunday. Interns will work nights and weekends mostly.
Reliability is a requirement and interest in learning how a radio station operates.
You will work in tandem with on-air talk show host(s) and the creative and event team to edit and delivery daily compelling content that grows social media followers and generates views.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with show time-keeping, saving show recordings, archiving show files and post-production editing as directed.
- Work closely with the marketing department to help create unique online content
- Generates original ideas, identifies suitable ideas from others, and carries out thorough research.
- Monitors listener texts, emails, inquiries and responses related to shows.
- Uses various media editing tools and technology including select audio and video clips to complement shows or find requested content by hosts
Requirements:
- Computer software and editing abilities, familiarity with editing
- Must have a positive attitude and be able to work within a team environment
- Must be flexible with work hours including weekends, overnights, and holidays
- Must have experience generating and distributing content on websites/social media platforms
- Must be detail oriented, self-motivator, troubleshooter
