Requirements:

WTAT FOX 24 in Charleston, SC is looking for someone to join a team of dynamic journalists and videographers to produce a highly visual, information-packed lifestyle show. FOX24 “News Now” covers everything you can think of, from fashion to food and everything in between. You will be responsible for the day-to-day production operations in conjunction with the show’s host as well as editing the next day’s show for air.   Job Responsibilities: ·        Direct and operate equipment during pre-tapings of regular studio and virtual segments. ·        Edit segments together with b-roll and other show elements and upload the next day’s show file for Master Control. ·        Contribute guest ideas for a daily talk show, which includes between 15 to 18 segments per week along with field shoot packages. ·        Coordinate shoots and pre-tapes for sponsored segments. ·        Coordinate the production aspects to on-location shoots and field packages when needed as well as pre-taped sponsored and non-sponsored segments in studio. ·        Update calendar daily with raw time for each segment ·        Maintain show archive. ·        Prepare segment files to be posted on our YouTube page. ·        Cutting basic b-roll and other video in Premiere Pro and add it to segments in post-production. ·        Attend and contribute to weekly briefings with sales and production staff on show lineup and upcoming shoots. ·        Additional digital and social media responsibilities as needed.   Requirements: ·        Minimum two years of television production experience ·        Strong writing, punctuation and grammar skills are a must ·        Accuracy and attention to detail is imperative ·        Ability to work well under tight deadlines in an organized fashion ·        Focused and creative, yet flexible ·        Ability to work in a team environment and independently when necessary ·        Familiarity with Adobe Premiere and Media Encoder   If this is you, please submit resume to jobs@foxcharleston.com and include “WTAT-Director/Editor” in the subject line.   No phone calls please.   WTAT-TV and Cunningham Broadcasting Corporation are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace!
