WSMV is recruiting News Producers. We have a variety of openings on different dayparts. Producers at WSMV create, coordinate, write and execute competitive newscasts. They display creativity, aggressiveness, attention to detail, resourcefulness and team spirit in the pursuit of excellent newscasts and content for online and social platforms.

In addition, the Producer:

•Coordinates efforts of Anchors, Reporters, Editors and other staff toward crafting a compelling newscast.
•Develops day-to-day on-air look of the newscast to attract the largest available audience to the station’s profitable newscasts.
•Contributes to station’s web and multi-media efforts
