KVOA-News 4 Tucson is looking for a Morning Weather Anchor/MMJ to join our weekend news staff. The ideal candidate is a morning person with a big personality who can provide strong weather coverage on our weekend morning newscast while showcasing their great storytelling skills in a multi-media journalist position during the week.
If you are journalist who loves news and has the drive to win, this is the place for you. We are looking for a versatile self-starter who works well under tight deadlines. Strong anchoring and writing skills are a must.
Applicants must also embrace the multi-platform approach of today’s newsroom and must have significant experience with news gathering, shooting and editing video.
You must possess at least two years’ experience at a commercial television news station, and a four-year college degree.
Candidates must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (subject to any medical or religious accommodations or other applicable law) and a good driving record. Must possess or be able to obtain an Arizona driver’s license A pre-employment background check is required.
