Townsquare Media Trenton (New Jersey 101.5/WKXW-FM) is looking for a full-time Multi-media Producer and Content Contributor for the Dennis & Judi Show. Ready to creatively collaborate with a highly successful broadcast/content team? This job lies at the intersection of fun and hard work, and you would be an integral part of our winning show. The ideal candidate must have strong digital skills and bring imagination, hustle, positive energy and a dedicated work ethic to the role. This in-office job location is in Trenton, New Jersey, and the work is Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

·         Report directly to the New Jersey 101.5 Director of Content

·         Screen callers for on-air program, selecting the best calls for interaction with the hosts

·         Coordinate guests, remotes and appearances

·         Incorporate listener online comments, tweets, app chats, Reddit, Instagram, Facebook posts, and poll results into the show on-air and online

·         Communicate clearly and effectively between news, digital, promotion and programming departments

·         Create WordPress website posts with featured images, embedded content

·         Leverage search and social data to drive on-air and online programming ideas

·         Identify the best on-air segments, calls, guests, and other content to be highlighted on all platforms

·         Includes the potential to interact with hosts on air

Qualifications:

Goal oriented and a strong work ethic
Superior knowledge of news, current events and pop culture
Ability to daily ideate topics and posts for shows
Computer literacy in applicable programs (WordPress, Adobe, Canva)
Strong desire to be coached, mentored, and developed
Excellent communication, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree or partial college degree required
Previous media experience required
