We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Local Sales Manager to join our team at a leading TV station. As the Local Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving revenue growth through both traditional Television sales and Digital advertising platforms. Your role will involve managing a sales team, developing effective sales strategies, and collaborating with clients to create comprehensive integrated advertising solutions.
Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Perform 4 legged calls with Account Executives to service, present, and close local business.
Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue from both TV and Digital advertising platforms.
Foster strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for account expansion.
Prospect and engage new clients, showcasing the benefits of integrated advertising across multiple channels.
Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, production, and marketing, to develop compelling advertising solutions.
Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the TV and Digital advertising space.
Analyze sales data, generate reports, and provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance and market trends.
Monitor and ensure adherence to sales policies, pricing structures, and contractual agreements.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the TV station and build industry connections.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in TV and Digital sales, with a strong understanding of the advertising industry.
Demonstrated success in leading and managing a sales team, including setting targets and driving performance.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
Up-to-date knowledge of TV and digital advertising trends, technologies, and best practices.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools to manage and track sales activities.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.
