Description:

As a Sales & Marketing Assistant for Salem Media, you will be a part of a team that moves business forward. You’ll collaborate with our Media Sales team members, digital campaign specialists, sales managers, and ad ops teams to streamline workflows. This includes, but is not limited to, the insertion of digital orders, pulling and managing reports, managing dashboards & tickets internally and externally, plus working with our support teams and order management system to implement and maintain digital orders.

This role requires a person who is highly organized, proactive, with excellent communication skills, and has the ability to be stretched across divisions with varying workflows and processes.

Responsibilities:

·         Serve as a knowledge expert for the Salem Surround systems and suite of Digital products ·         Assist Media Sellers with writing orders, order input and campaign revisions ·         Provide support in implementing white glove processes for high value clients ·         Support and monitor digital campaigns to include optimization and performance through the use of data analytics ·         Pulling & translating reports to help enhance our processes and create avenues for increased revenue growth ·         Work alongside a team to build a better experience of campaign operations for both clients and internal employees/partners ·         Maintain management and reporting systems (ie: Media Strategists client lists, leads, etc.) ·         Ability to deal effectively with tight deadlines, and the diverse needs of, management, clients and Media Strategists, with the ability to multi-task with attention to detail and accuracy

Requirements:

·         Strong people skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. ·         Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work in a sometimes-chaotic workflow ·         Strong attention to detail ·         Previous digital project management experience OR Bachelor’s degree in marketing ·         Direct experience with broadcast and/or digital advertising preferred ·         Self-starter who can work both autonomously and collaboratively with a team of peers ·         Knowledge of Wide Orbit a major plus ·         Proficiency in MS programs including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. ·         Strong written and verbal communication skills ·         4- year college degree preferred but not required This is a great opportunity for a motivated college graduate to quickly learn the ropes of digital marketing, or one with prior experience managing projects and processes.
