Description:
Establish policies, procedures, and training for archiving, preserving, and accessing Nebraska Public Media’s physical and digital media assets. Requires strong project management, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills to work across departments to develop supportable strategies and best practices for healthy searchability and access to all archived content.

Requirements:
- Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in library science or related field plus one (1) year of experience with library science and/or media management. Familiarity with cataloging and metadata standards. Familiarity with best practices around audiovisual media preservation. Excellent oral and written communication skills . Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to lead and supervise students and volunteers.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with spreadsheets (e.g. Google Sheets, Smartsheet) and a basic understanding of the use and organizational design of databases. Previous experience leading complex projects. Familiarity with intellectual property rights and Fair Use standards. Supervisory experience. Previous experience in an audiovisual or digital archive setting.
