Website Midwest Communications, Inc.

Tired of feeling unfulfilled at work? Are you looking for a comp

Description:

Family-owned Midwest Communications is looking for the next great Brand Manager to join its team in Lansing, MI.

You will be working closely with OM Terry Stevens and have direct oversight of two stations – Rhythmic AC WQTX (Stacks 92.1) and Classic Country WWDK (94.1 Duke FM). You will also be spending some quality time with AOR WLMI (Cruisin’ 92.9) and Active Rock WJXQ (Q106).

This is an ideal starter position for someone who wants to make the jump to a programming role. You’ll get a feel for what it takes to do day-to-day maintenance and create interactive digital content on a pair of brands that carry syndicated or jockless programming, while still getting to enjoy hosting an airshift on non-syndicated brands. You’ll get to work with a team of experienced broadcast professionals, each of whom have a passion for teaching, training, learning & lifting others up.

If you are accountable, committed to personal improvement & are ready to take the next step in your radio career, this gig is perfect for you.  Bonus points if you are bilingual (English/Spanish) and have skills in video production and graphic design.

We have a very collaborative environment in Lansing — “None of us is smarter than all of us,” and at the moment, we’re a brain short. If you want to lend yours to the cause, e-mail your resume, cover letter, aircheck and commercial production samples to lansingfun@mwcradio.com.
