KUSI is looking for an IT System Administrator to assist the General & Administration Department in their mission.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have experience with Networking, Server Maintenance and End User PC administration. Must have a demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Ecosystem including Windows 7/10, Office 365 administration, Server 2008/2012, and Active Directory. Networking topology experience including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP/ DNS protocols will bring your resume to the top. Configuration of Network Infrastructure, together with proper cabling practices like routing, management, and terminating, are key skills in this role. Additionally some Apple/Mac administration experience is important.Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have at least an Associate Degree in Information Technologies, Computer sciences or Technical training in a related field. An understanding of newsroom computer systems such as Associated Press ENPS is a plus as is database administration. In addition, a working knowledge of basic electronics is required. Candidates need to know how to use basic tools. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a working technical environment is necessary. A Good working knowledge of video streaming protocols helpful. Candidates need to have the ability to configure, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Client PC’s and Servers quickly and efficiently. In this role, the candidate must people skills as they will be working with all levels within the company, often teaching users efficiency tricks and how to self-address issues they run into.Contact:
