Description:

KTBS LLC, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Local Sales Manager to lead their local sales team in selling linear television advertising and their many digital product offerings. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, an innovative idea generator, and motivating leader who can guide the sales team to achieve success. The Local Sales Manager will work closely with the Digital Sales Manager, Community Projects Director, and Marketing Manager to ensure that client needs are met and exceeded. 

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Lead, motivate and manage the local sales team, providing direction, support, and guidance to achieve sales targets and grow revenue.  Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue across linear and other product lines, including digital, community projects, and special promotions.  Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key clients, fostering connections that evolve into lifetime friendships. Understand client needs, deliver tailored solutions, and ensure their long-term satisfaction.  Collaboration: Work closely with Digital Sales Manager, Community Projects Director, and Marketing Manager to develop integrated sales strategies and ensure seamless client experience.  Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales team performance, setting clear goals, tracking progress, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching to ensure continuous improvement.  Idea Generation: Serve as the primary source of creative sale ideas, helping the team innovate and develop new approaches to meet client needs and achieve sales goals.  Reporting: Regularly report on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback to the Station Manager, making recommendations for improvement and growth.  Cheerleading: Act as the head cheerleader for the sales team fostering a positive and energetic work environment that inspires and drives the team to success.

Requirements:

Proven experience in sales management role, preferably within the media or advertising industry.  Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Ability to build and maintain deep, long-lasting client relationships that go beyond business, turning into genuine friendships.  Creative thinker with a track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies.  Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.   Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and idea generation. Strong organizational skills and attention to details.  Proficiency in sales software and CRM tools.  Have a valid driver's license, good driving record, satisfactory pre-employment drug test and background check.
