Position Overview

Looking to get your foot in the door in the sports radio industry? The KSL Sports Zone is looking for a creative, hardworking, motivated employee to join our team. Our producers are responsible for development and production of studio shows and/or on-site live sports broadcasts. This includes operating a sound board and coordination with other producers, engineers and on-air talent.


Note: Work configurations are subject to change based on business needs and at company discretion.

This position is an onsite role that requires the employee to regularly work at our Salt Lake City site.

$16.00 to $20.00 per hour. Hourly rate to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to evaluation of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with market data.

What You Will Do: Primary job duties will include, but are not limited to: Producing live sporting events/shows Coordinating with on-air staff for broadcast needs Operating a sound board Editing audio Flexible schedule with ability to work nights, weekends & holidays Embrace a culture of diversity and inclusion where guests and team members feel welcomed, valued, and heard Operate with an emphasis on safety for employees, teams, and guests Other duties as assigned Competencies: Communicates effectively – Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. Skills and Experience We Are Looking For: High School graduate or G.E.D Proficient with Adobe Audition, Microsoft Office Suite Ability to multitask Time management and attention to detail Effective communication - Writing skills preferred Physical Demands Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively. Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to operate computer keys and general office equipment. Ability to work on a computer for prolonged periods of time. Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time. Lift, move, and carry up to 20 pounds on occasion
