We are looking for a Media Director to drive the success of our talented media team. This person will have responsibility over development and execution of media plans, allocation of our clients’ large media budgets, and systematic improvement of team performance. The Media Director works closely with the marketing team of a large recognizable client; they also lead and manage our media team and are ultimately responsible for their success in carrying out day-to-day digital media planning, buying, and optimizing activities. The person in this role will also be a part of the agency’s larger leadership team and work closely with the executive team and heads of other departments.

Responsibilities Lead day-to-day media planning and buying efforts for the agency, including the development of media strategy plans for high-profile clients Manage team members, including media buyers and planners, including responsibility for skill development and team culture Partner with account teams and agency leadership in building strong relationships with the client Clearly communicate the media plan and strategy to the client and internal stakeholders Drive continual, measurable improvement in team performance over time Own and maintain productive relationships with media vendors (primarily Google and Facebook) Work cross-functionally with account, strategy/research, creative, content, and analytics teams in servicing clients Work closely with agency internal teams to report on media and to provide monthly and quarterly updates on optimizations as well as provide strategic direction to the client and greater team.


Required 10+ years of experience in Media Buyer and/or Media Planner roles -- agency side preferred 3+ years of people management experience Proven experience in digital media Broad knowledge of media channels; expert-level knowledge of Google and Facebook ad platforms Excellent client service, communication, and presentation skills Familiarity with campaign evaluation metrics and media buying Working knowledge of analytics and attribution tools Strong Excel skills Basic knowledge of databases and SQL Strong decision-making skills Extreme attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency and accuracy Desired International experience, marketing in Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking countries Experience with out of home, TV, Radio, OTT, and other channels Fluent in additional language(s) Advanced knowledge of databases and SQL An analytical mind with an aptitude for statistics and math Experience with Tableau Ad Platform certifications
