Responsibilities:
KOLD-TV has an immediate opening for a General Sales Manager to lead our local, national, regional, and digital sales efforts. All areas of the station revenue are under the GSM supervision, including sales staff and sales assistants. The candidate must possess strong leadership and the highest level of customer service and sales skills, along with a proven track record of success with negotiating and servicing advertisers. The General Sales Manager is responsible for achieving station revenue goals, setting pricing, and inventory management for the station platforms.Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related degree is preferred. - 3+ years in broadcast direct, new business, and transactional business and a proven track record of leadership, budget attainment, and sales success. - Well-versed and adept in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Extensive knowledge of TV station inventory. Wide Orbit and Matrix experience a plus. - Outstanding communication and presentation skills. - Track record of creative idea generationContact:
