Description:

KOAM News Now has an opening for a Digital Content Producer.  The Producer is responsible for finding, developing, and managing content for online newsroom platforms. The producer will focus on creating new content to post across digital platforms and work with reporters, producers, and managers to integrate and enhance content between TV and digital. The producer works with digital/audience metrics to maximize exposure and reach of news content. Schedule may vary and include nights/weekends.

Mandatory Qualifications:

·         Must be a self-starter and able to work in the newsroom or on location

·         Must work well under pressure and on deadline

·         Comfortable working both individually and in a team environment

·         Knowledgeable about popular and emerging social media platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

·         4-year degree with an emphasis in Journalism or equivalent

·         Working knowledge of newsroom computer systems

·         Knowledge of AP Style
