Description:
NTV News is looking for an dynamic Multi-Media Journalist to join our great team. Your responsibilities as an MMJ will include reporting, shooting and editing news stories, enterprising story ideas, developing contacts, as well as other responsibilities as assigned. You will be expected to produce daily content on a variety of platforms including the internet, social networking sites and mobile phones, in addition to television.
Skills and Experience:
First and foremost, you must be a GREAT Team player. Our team is what drives our success. To be a great team player, you must have a fantastic go-getter attitude, ready to jump in and lend a hand where ever needed
Sharp news judgment, grounded in the communities we serve
Solid storytelling skills, focused on bring out the emotion in a story
Excellent technical skills
The ability to work well independently with fantastic time-management (well organized) skills
Must have and maintain a valid license with an excellent driving record
Requirements and Qualifications:
Previous reporting experience is desired but we will train the right person (College graduate with Communication or Journalism degree)
Experience with live shots is huge plus
Experience with Avid Editing is a plus
