Position Overview:
The Account Executive is responsible for generating advertising revenue by developing and maintaining relationships with local businesses and clients. This role involves selling television and digital advertising solutions to help businesses grow their brands and reach their target audiences. The Account Executive must be highly motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, competitive media environment.
Compensation:
Base Salary + Commission: Competitive base salary plus performance-based commissions and bonuses.

Key Responsibilities: Sales & Revenue Generation: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve individual and team sales goals for both broadcast and digital platforms. Prospect, identify, and secure new business through cold calling, networking, and relationship-building with local businesses and advertisers. Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of existing clients, ensuring repeat business and client satisfaction. Client Relationship Management: Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and providing effective advertising solutions. Serve as a trusted advisor, educating clients on the benefits of TV advertising and digital marketing solutions. Conduct regular meetings and presentations with clients to propose advertising plans and review campaign performance. Advertising Campaign Development: Work with clients to create tailored advertising campaigns that align with their marketing goals and budgets. Collaborate with the station’s creative team to develop compelling ad copy, visuals, and multimedia content for TV and digital platforms. Ensure timely and effective execution of campaigns, from initial proposal through post-campaign reporting. Digital Sales: Promote digital advertising solutions including website display ads, social media, and OTT (over-the-top) streaming services. Stay up-to-date on emerging digital trends and tools to offer clients the most current and effective marketing strategies. Reporting & Forecasting: Track and report on sales performance, including forecasting future revenue opportunities. Prepare sales proposals, presentations, and contracts in alignment with company policies and pricing guidelines. Monitor and analyze advertising campaign results, delivering post-campaign analysis and insights to clients. Collaboration: Collaborate with the production team, creative services, and traffic department to ensure flawless campaign execution. Work closely with other sales team members and management to share insights and strategies for maximizing revenue. Attend station-sponsored events, community activities, and promotional efforts to network with potential clients and represent the station.Requirements:
Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent certification Experience: 1-3 years of media sales experience, preferably in TV, radio, or digital advertising preferred but not necessary. We will train the right person. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Skills: Strong understanding of the local market and key business segments. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Familiarity with digital advertising strategies, including social media marketing, online video, and OTT platforms. Microsoft office – PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams Additional Requirements: Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, manage multiple client accounts, and generate new business opportunities. Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Team Player: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work cross-functionally within the station. Customer-Centric: A passion for helping clients achieve their business goals through advertising and marketing solutions. Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite, along with the ability to learn proprietary software quickly.Contact:
