Description:

The Sales Coordinator works with the General Sales Manager and Account Executives, with an emphasis on acting as a liaison between the sales departments and the station’s clients.

Responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities
  • Assists in event planning and implementation for multiple events throughout the year
  • Supports sales staff in our Wide Orbit Traffic system and maintains up to date documents.
  • Responsible for ordering supplies and covering front desk switchboard as needed Knowledgeable of FCC regulations.
  • The candidate will also backup the National Sales Assistant when needed as well as the Digital Director.
  • Overtime may be required on rare occasions.
  • Work flow development and administration for Sales Department.
  • Cross-training with other sales assistants.
  • Places orders in system with make goods, and researches AR balances and invoices.
  • Works with inventory and Traffic Department to maximize revenue.

Requirements:

Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Candidate must have effective communication skills and advanced organization skills in this fast paced position.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Ability to interface with clients, agencies, and other departments.
  • Excellent administrative skills and familiarity with office equipment such as printers, faxes, and phones is a necessity.
  • Experience with Wide Orbit Traffic is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Work with time sensitive information under tight deadlines and in pressure situations.
  • Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to manipulate and operate personal computers and general office equipment (telephone, copier, etc.) for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to think quickly and to articulate information in clear, concise manner to others. Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Average pushing and pulling, bending and stooping.
