Description:

Multimedia Journalist, Flagstaff Bureau

KNXV, the E.W. Scripps-owned ABC station in Phoenix, Arizona is looking for a self-starting, ambitious and creative Multimedia journalist to run our bureau in Flagstaff.

Located in the mountains of Arizona’s high country, Flagstaff is about two hours North of Phoenix. It is home to Northern Arizona University, the famed Lowell Observatory, hundreds of hiking and biking trails, lakes, amazing ski spots, and is just 80 miles from the Grand Canyon. Flagstaff is also surrounded by the largest contiguous ponderosa pine forest in the world and has four seasons. There is snow in the Winter and no chance of triple digit temperatures in the Summer.

Flagstaff is a busy city. There is always something going on there or close to it. The right candidate will live in Flagstaff and work remotely with the team at KNXV in Phoenix. You will be issued a station vehicle for work. We are looking for a journalist who is proud to own all aspects of the story, from enterprising the idea, to shooting, editing and reporting dynamic content.
