Regional Sales Manager
Cowles Montana Media, a family-owned media company, is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team. With 5 markets across the Big Sky state, the candidate will have the flexibility to work from home or at one of our stations. We are seeking a driven, solutions-based individual who is focused on growing market share by negotiating, packaging, and increasing current client spend utilizing all our assets. Candidate must be a self-starter who can independently lead a small team with agility and purpose. Position will be the one stop solution for regional agency clients.

Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities include: Excellent communication with multi-market advertising agencies providing all the media solutions they need to achieve success for their clients. Effectively negotiate and package to garner the highest share possible while pricing to demand. Responsible for positioning and selling sports & specials. Propose linear tv and non-linear marketing products. Confidently exhibit value to our clients through product and ratings knowledge. Communicate effectively and often with clients. Provide exceptional customer service to clients. · Takes pride in being extremely well-organized and always prepared to meet deadlines and goals. · The ability to analyze issues thoroughly to make sound business decisions and solve problems effectively. Effective conflict management and task delegation skills. Has an excellent understanding of how to price effectively and manage inventory. Work with sales support to provide timely and accurate service with account maintenance including make-goods, posts, aging/collections. Stay informed of details requiring immediate attention and prioritize tasks accordingly. · Understands how to communicate effectively and build strong internal and external relationships. · Takes full ownership of regional budgets, revenue goals and constantly develop strategies to overachieve.
Requirements:Key requirements and qualifications include: Knowledge of Wide Orbit Media Sales, Wide Orbit Traffic, ComScore, Nielsen and Microsoft Office products. College degree with prior national and/or regional media sales experience preferred. Strong understanding of broadcast and digital advertising sales. Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate with decision makers at all levels. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to efficiently organize workload and workflow.
