Position Status: Full-time, Exempt

Salary: Base Plus Commission

Budgeted Compensation Base: $50,000–$60,000

About This Role

The Branded Content Producer & Host is the driving force in identifying, creating, and producing non-traditional content and revenue for Cowles Montana Media Company’s group of TV stations and digital products for the Montana State Markets. Position is based in Montana and will be servicing the cities of Billings, Butte/Bozeman, Missoula, Kalispell, Great Falls, and Helena.

This person is high-energy, with cross-functional skills focused on building relationships with our internal sales teams and external sales partners who want to grow their brand visibility and business results.

The right candidate can take a project through the entire process—from inception to creation—including on-camera hosting, writing, and audio presentation.

 

Key Responsibilities

Develop and Sell Sponsorships

Work with internal sales teams, as well as independently, to identify and build client relationships that lead to new revenue opportunities.
Support the development of sponsorship and branded content opportunities that align with client goals and station platforms.
Production & Content Development

Coordinate with the marketing teams, across the state, to schedule production and meet deadlines.
Script, write, shoot, and complete light editing for branded content projects.
Deliver on-camera hosting and presentation as needed across client campaigns.  Travel is required.
Digital & Social Performance

Use social media platforms for content creation, placement, and promotion.
Apply best practices in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to improve content reach and performance.
Community Engagement & Storytelling

Bring a passion for local storytelling and community connection.
Represent Cowles Montana Media and its brands with professionalism and enthusiasm in the field and on camera.
