POSITION REPORTS TO: Director of Analytics

We currently operate 22 radio stations in Seattle, Phoenix, Denver, San Francisco, Sacramento and Salt Lake City, along with the NBC Affiliate TV station, KSL TV 5, in Salt Lake. POSITION PURPOSE: Responsible for supporting the company’s Financial Planning and Analytics functions, including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, corporate financial and client campaign reporting. This role will manage a wide range of financial analyses across broadcast and digital channels as well as business plans and operational models. Directly support the Director of Analytics and other key finance personnel in the provision and use of key data, reports and insights. Ensures that all analyses and reporting requirements are accurate, complete, and timely.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Integrate and maintain financial planning and analytical tools, including but not limited to our Data Warehouse, Adaptive Insights, and Domo.
Help design, develop and maintain forecasting models, metrics, reports, analyses and dashboards across broadcast and digital channels.
Provide strategic direction, insight and guidance relative to the business systems and analytical tools that maintain best practice and drive operational efficiency.
Research and participate with leadership in identifying, modeling and implementing new business opportunities.
Participate in the evaluation, implementation and project management of business system implementations and modifications.
Build and automate BI reports and dashboards that allow the management team to get a clear snapshot of their operations with both leading and lagging indicators.
Understand business drivers and maintain a systematic processes to analyze business problems and developing solutions.
Build relationships and partner effectively across departments (e.g. Finance, Sales, Programming, Digital) to drive actionable insights for the business.
Provide analytics support (including reporting and ad hoc analysis) for a variety of internal stakeholders.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or other quantitative degree. (Masters level degree preferred)
5+ years of progressive financial planning and/or analytics experience.
Demonstrated strong analytical skills with ability to analyze multiple data sets and understand interrelationships.
Strong proficiency with Financial Planning, BI and Analytics technologies ideally Adaptive Insights, Domo, Excel, SQL.
Experience in financial and operational modelling.
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable to change.
Proven ability to handle stress, multi-task and meet multiple deadlines.
