POSITION PURPOSE:

 

We are looking for a dynamic Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to contribute to the advancement of Bonneville’s analytics and business intelligence capabilities. This initiative has senior executive sponsorship and influences strategic decisions regarding how to improve the analytics capabilities across the entire company. One of the most important responsibilities of this position is focusing on data governance for Bonneville. We are looking for a collaborative, skilled researcher and data storyteller who can build the capabilities and lead this key area of growth for the company.

 

This is a remote role where the employee may report to work in-person on occasion or not at all.  In order to work on Company premises, or with clients / members of the public at other locations, Bonneville employees must provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or evidence of a negative COVID-19 test within the previous seven days.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with multiple data sets and segmentation tools to build insights for internal and external stakeholders
Audit and manage multiple data sets across the organization for integrity and accuracy
As part of the data governance team, work with key data governance stakeholders to improve Bonneville’s management of data across the company
Collaborate with other Analysts to provide essential reports that keep teams informed and provide strategic position
Create and deliver polished visuals (dashboards, presentations, etc.) for management and leadership
Provide strategic direction, insight and guidance relative to the systems and analytical tools that maintain best practice and stay on top of industry trends
Support ad hoc research needs across the organization
Provide insight and leadership in the architecture of data structures and systems integrations
Build and automate BI reports and dashboards that allow management teams to improve strategic planning and operations
 

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analysis, Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Finance/Accounting or other quantitative degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of related experience using data to help drive business decisions
Demonstrated strong analytical skills with ability to analyze multiple data sets and understand interrelationships
Strong knowledge of research principles and practices with demonstrated capabilities in both qualitative and quantitative research
Strong proficiency with analytics technologies – ideally Domo, Excel, SQL, (GDS) Google Data Studio, Tableau, or other data tools
Demonstrated excellent leadership, facilitation, and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable to change
Proven ability to handle stress, multi-task and meet multiple deadlines
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination.
Lift, move, and carry up to 20 pounds on occasion
