Provide installation, configuration and maintenance on network and security systems used in the enterprise, and assist in maintenance on systems including servers, software and storage. Maintain backups and secuity of data.
Configure and maintain network infrastructure including VLAN’s, switches and firewalls
Diagnose and fix network connectivity issues
Configure and monitor security infrastructure including Antivirus, Spam and malware protection systems.
Manage enterprise servers including patching, backups, and file system access control
Administration of Bonneville International’s Microsoft Active Directory system and servers including setup, creation and troubleshooting. Provide support for domain controllers, DNS, NTP, Security certificates and group policies.
Administer Office 365 products and azure cloud email system including server roles, Single sign-on, and user mailboxes,
Administer of virtual computing environment on the VMWare platform including setup, configuration, backup and periodic maintenance of hosts and VM’s
Use ticketing system to track support tickets, maintain efficiency and catalogue issues. Resolve trouble tickets in a reasonable amount of time while documenting the resolution.
Troubleshoot and repair desktop and server systems including hardware and software issues
Prioritize tasks based on user impact, business needs and broadcast cycles.
Work assigned regular hours with flexibility to work additional hours if needed to meet deadlines including weekends, holidays, evenings, etc.
Work in compliance with Bonneville/DMC policies and procedures.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
2 years’ experience as a System Administrator
Understand wired and wireless network functions including addressing, sub-netting and routing
Experience administering threat protection services
Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory systems and structures including setup, creation, troubleshooting and support of domain controllers, DNS, NTP, Security certificates, group policies, users and groups
Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 including server roles, SSO/MFA, user mailboxes, mail retention and spam filtering service
Knowledge of Vmware including ESXi and Horizon VDI solution setup, configuration and maintenance including backup procedures
Monitor, maintain and support data storage systems and other storage arrays on the network.
Ability to install, configure and maintain Windows and Apple operating systems
Knowledge of computer and server hardware components and how to troubleshoot and repair them
Exhibit excellent customer service skills including friendly approachable demeanor, patience when dealing with difficult users and an ability to maintain a calm, level-headed approach while under pressure or in difficult situations
Communicate effectively using non-technical language
Ability to create written documentation of work completed
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination.
Lift, move, and carry up to 20 pounds on occasion.
