We are looking to hire a skilled, self-motivated On-Air Radio Talent for the Audacy Phoenix Market. This person is able to put out strong work on tight deadlines. They have sound audio editing judgment, take pride in their work, and have a high attention to detail. They have a problem-solving attitude and an excitement for innovation. The ideal candidate has an interest in music and pop culture. They have a background in audio production and/or daily show production. On a daily basis, they will pitch story ideas, edit audio segments, arrange and organize interviews, write scripts, and work closely with the station Brand Manager to develop and execute content on-air. This role will help to manage the brand’s social media presence with a music and pop culture focus. In addition, this candidate is someone who is comfortable working in a self-motivated environment, and is interested in all facets of radio and digital content creation. Having a sense of humor is also encouraged!

Responsibilities:
What You'll Do:- Create original content and performing live broadcasts that are entertaining, informative and pertain to the station brand.
- Conduct on-air interviews, attend and assist in all market cluster live events
- Produce and edit audio content and commercials on a daily basis
- Must have superior knowledge of current events and ability to create content based on news, information, and pop culture.
- Execute engaging content for both On-Air and social media outlets.
- Participate and create original content for all social media platforms; managing online personality presence
- Protect the station’s FCC license
- Monitor the music and commercial logs for the airshift
- Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly
- Operate the control board and perform production work
- Conduct Live Remotes and appearances and assist in special promotions and programming activities
- Other duties as required by management
Requirements:
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Computer literacy in applicable programs and excellent verbal communication skills
- Public speaking skill and ability to interact with listeners and clients in a public setting
- Problem-solving ability and skill in prioritizing
- Ability to interact with management and staff at all levels
- Multitask and handle pressures and deadlines
- Skill in operation of control board, remote broadcasting, and other related production equipment
- PREVIOUS ON AIR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (CHR or Rhythmic Format is Preferred)*
- High School Diploma
- A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
