If you have superior leadership skills, excel in time management, and have a solid work ethic, then this is the position for you! Radio sales management is preferred, but we will consider an exceptional radio seller who is ready to step into his or her first management role.
Essential Duties: Your responsibilities will include attracting, coaching, and developing key sales staff members; planning annual sales budgets; establishing professional relationships with clients and other business leaders; and promoting and managing the vision of the company. You should have the ability to communicate with management and staff, track market developments impacting sales, develop and implement sales plans to accommodate long and short term goals, set sales prices, deliver sales training, and close business.
Your performance will be measured by your ability to generate sales, meet market budgets, and successfully grow and foster a sales team.
Requirements: Strong computer skills, including good working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, Marketron and understand radio station ratings and rating software. Excellent oral and written communication skills are desirable, as well as an outgoing personality and good organizational skills. Experience in radio sales is essential.
Dependable transportation, clean driving record and proof of insurance are requirements for this position.
