WCYN Broadcasting is looking for a motivated Sales Associate to join our team! As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for selling radio advertising, developing relationships with local businesses, and helping clients create effective marketing campaigns. No prior sales experience is required—paid training will be provided—but previous sales or customer service experience is appreciated.
This is a commission-based position, with competitive commission on all sales including bonuses. If you are outgoing, goal-driven, a team player, and excited about working with local businesses, we encourage you to apply!
Responsibilities:
Sales associates are responsible for generating new advertising sales, maintaining existing accounts, and meeting monthly sales goals. Duties include identifying local businesses for potential advertising opportunities, creating customized marketing packages, attending client meetings, inputting contracts, and collaborating with the production team to ensure ad delivery. Associates will represent WCYN professionally at community events and serve as ambassadors for the station’s brand.Requirements:
Applicants must be self-motivated, organized, and possess strong communication skills. A background in sales or marketing is helpful but not required—training will be provided. Applicants should be comfortable making cold calls, managing client relationships, meeting deadlines, and working independently. Basic computer skills and reliable transportation are required.Contact:
