Responsibilities: Duties include: • Responsible for producing all weekend newscasts and supervising production assistants • Read through scripts before newscast to prepare and work with producer of newscasts to choose story elements. • Report in the field as needed with the possibility of live shots. • Write, shoot and produce news stories as assigned. • Put stories on the web site. • Provide stories for network, newspaper and radio partners, website and any other assigned organizations. • Appear in public as ambassadors of the station as assigned.

Description: WUVG-TV Univision of Atlanta is seeking a skilled commercial producer to work in our Creative Services department.
Responsibilities: Duties include: Production of commercials, promos, PSAs, etc., and assisting News production as needed. Producer will write, shoot, and edit spots from start to finish and work closely with sales team, multiple station departments and clients. Position requires involvement in all levels of station promotion from on-air to station events. Producer should be highly creative, self-starter, with strong organizational and communication skills and a proven track record of successfully completing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Requirements: Successful candidate must be proficient in Final Cut Pro and/or Avid (Adrenaline and Express), Photoshop, After Effects, Camera, lighting, producing and directing. Experience in video production, motion graphics and/or promotion/marketing for broadcast television preferred. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred. MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE A DEMO REEL FOR CONSIDERATION.
