National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ): An organization of journalists, students and media-related professionals that provides quality programs and services to and advocates on behalf of black journalists worldwide.
National Association of Hispanic Journalists(NAHJ): An association dedicated to the recognition and professional advancement of Hispanics in the news industry.
Native American Journalists Association (NAJA): A professional society whose primary goal is to improve communications among Native people and between Native Americans and the general public.
National Association of Minorities in Communications (NAMIC): An organization that advocates diversity in leadership, employment, programming and ownership in the telecommunication industry.
National Association of Minority Media Executives(NAMME): An organization for media managers and executives of color working in newspapers, magazines, radio, television, cable and new media.
National Broadcasting Society and Alpha Epsilon Rho(NBS and AERho): A professional society whose mission is to enhance the development of college and university students involved in telecommunications, broadcasting, cable and other electronic media.
National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association (NLGJA): An organization that works from within the news industry to foster fair and accurate coverage of lesbian and gay issues.
Radio & Television News Directors Association (RTNDA): A national association of electronic journalists representing local and network news executives in broadcasting, cable and other electronic media in more than 30 countries.
Radio and Television News Directors Foundation(RTNDF): A foundation dedicated to promoting excellence in electronic journalism through research, education and professional training.
