Station Manager

A local radio network in beautiful Western Wyoming is seeking an exceptional leader to lead an award-winning network of 5 stations with a variety of music, talk, and local sports programming.

The right individual will possess the leadership ability and a proven track record of successful and innovative solutions to succeed in an ultra-competitive market place.

Our privately-owned company has a long-standing media foundation dating back more than 40 years. We currently own and operate multi-media properties in several states across the U.S. All of which are industry and marketplace leaders that take great pride in the communities we serve and our roll within them.  

Responsibilities:

The right person will be responsible for leading the sales, programming, digital, administrative and promotion/event departments. He or she will be the kind of person that commands attention and owns the room when they walk in.

We are a sales first company. The right individual will be charged with constantly evaluating the sales staff, identifying and recruiting the best sales talent available to us. This individual will develop relationships within the company and within the community that will advance both their roll with us and our position in the market.

He or she will be a working manager that carries a list of their own. Servicing clients and delivering results in the marketplace. 

Additional duties will include the ability to drive sales, deliver growth, exceed goals and work across departments to optimize execution.  Developing and executing strategies to respond to customer and listener needs, market demands and competitive opportunities utilizing various programming and sales resources required.

Requirements:

Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of radio management experience along with proven leadership skills in a competitive environment, strong financial and budgetary skills, team orientation, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.  Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are a must.  The ability to motivate others and work under pressure is required.

Compensation:

The Station Manager position will have a competitive base salary plus commissions and incentive based on goals achieved both monthly and annually. There will be no hard cap on earnings.
