This position requires a business minded individual with a solid background in sales and marketing.   Must be highly motivated; a self-starter with leadership, organizational, creativity skills and a passion   for winning. Prior radio/tv sales experience a definite bonus.

Radio stations KSLV-FM, KYDN-FM, KSLV-AM (plus an adjacent market AM/FM translator) are located in the San Luis Valley of south central Colorado: a beautiful rural agricultural and tourist community. Year-round outdoor recreational activities abound. Same station ownership for 39 years. 

Responsibilities:

Generate revenue by developing new local and regional client relationships - with the ability to evaluate and identify current and past prospects for their spending potential - then developing creative, long-term campaigns to earn their advertising dollars. Must be involved, committed and dedicated to serving the local communities. 

Requirements:

Must be an experienced business and sales professional with the ability to team-build and take on day-to-day management tasks.  Position requires strong verbal, written and presentation skills - with an eye on results. Attention to detail is a must! Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, Quick-Books, Adobe Audition, Marketron, and NexGen is a definite plus.  Technical expertise helpful.
